Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim 2012 has come to a close. The show produced some of the newest and hottest designers in swim for the upcoming season. One designer that left fashion goers breathless was Mara Hoffman. Her swim collection was unique and distinctive with bold large prints and colorful hues. She received an education from both the Parsons School of Design in New York, and Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design in London. Hoffman’s rise to stardom was when she was approached by the acclaimed Sex and the City stylist, Patricia Field, to compliment her outfit. After their encounter, Field agreed to purchase a number of samples from Hoffman and sell them in her store. As a result, a loyal clientele steadily grew and her ready to wear collection was born.

Hoffman debuted her ready to wear collection in 2000.
