Alexa Chung is known in both the U.K. and the U.S. for her quirky and unique sense of style. She has become a fashion icon to our generation and is always willing to try something new. Alexa had a talk show on MTV for two seasons, where she talked to various celebrities and was known for her interesting sense of humor.

Having a love for fashion comes easy for Alexa she can be found wearing a mix of designers from Chanel to H&M. Alexa describes her style as very laid back with an edge of tomboy appeal. She decided to take her love for fashion even further by designing a line of clothing for Madewell, which is J.Crew’s sister company. In Britain, Alexa is such a style icon that iconic brand Mulberry created the Alexa bag in her honor!

After her work with Madewell, Alexa’s done anything but slow down. She was on the cover of Teen Vogue in November 2011, and currently hosts a reality TV series called “24-hour Catwalk.” She can also be found at music festivals like Coachella on a regular basis.

Below are a few looks I created on Polyvore inspired by Alexa’s personal style.

The idea behind Alexa’s style is something that is chic, easy, and affordable. This style is something that every girl can wear by adding her own unique twist. Carefree and fun fashion is what Alexa is all about, and she shows us that fashion is not something we should be afraid of.
