Chloe and Parris Gordon are proof that two is better than one! The Torontonian sisters are the designers behind Chloe Comme Parris, a chic, feminine-meets-tomboy, fashion-forward clothing line that is making waves in the fashion industry. Chloe and Parris started designing in 2009 but their love for clothing and fashion started a lot earlier, “we have always been interested in art and have expressed ourselves through dress[ing] from a young age. This interest began with our mother, who is also an artist,” the duo explains. Chloe Comme Parris offers clothing that is incredibly versatile and perfect for women with a strong sense of personal style. 

The designers want to create clothing that is unique and artistic, yet simple. Chloe and Parris believe simplicity is key to the perfect designs, which is definitely one of the characteristics that makes their clothing so versatile. From their gorgeous clothes to their edgy accessories, Chloe Comme Parris is a line filled with “oohs!” and aahs!” While the sisters have put in hours of work getting to the point they are at now, they confess that the design process is purely “therapeutic,”  which might be why Chloe and Parris consider the overall mood and vibe of their clothing to be “effortlessly chic.” These girls are easy, breezy and relaxed when it comes to their personal style and that calmness clearly comes to light in their designs for Chloe Comme Parris.

These sisters create clothing that truly is “effortlessly chic” and 100% genuine. Their feminine-meets-tomboy aesthetic is incredibly high-fashion and each one of the garments they design are clearly crafted by two young designers who have a bright future ahead of them. CK: How did Chloe Comme Parris begin?
CG & PG: We have always been interested in fashion it is something that we have grown up around. Being creative is something that was engrained in us at a very young age. We both knew we wanted to do something creative. We decided to go to NSCAD (Nova Soctia College of Art and Design, and that is where we learnt how to turn our creativity into a product.

CK: Who are your favorite designers?
CG & PG: We look up to designers like; Riccardo Tisci. Nicolas Ghesquière, Yohji Yamamoto, Phoebe Philo, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez

CK: What is your favorite quote when it comes to fashion and design?
CG & PG: Keep it simple.
